liking anime. it happens at our own school, but now it just happened in a place that we weren't expecting. my friends and i all went to a part in an area that belongs to a different district because we were meeting two other friends there. well we were having fun and all that, then 5 muscle-built guys show up. [literally muscle-built, some of them had their shirts off.] the two girls that were from that area were like "oh no....oh f...no....sh.t! it's them...they punched a girl before because she said something to them when they made fun of her for liking anime." well nothing happened for a while so we just ignored them, but then they started coming over to us because they knew we were in cosplay. well they started saying....nasty things... to us as we walked away, completely ignoring them. i started to get a little panicked and worked up and ended up feeling like i was going to throw up because of things that have happened before with my mom and an abusive oaf, so this started to get me panicked. i feel like a coward and a fool because i got so worked up...but in the end, we were the better people for just walking away. its pretty low that a group of guys has to pick on girls to feel high and mighty....
[[when my 1 friend and i were walking back to the road we needed to go to, to get picked up at, i couldn't even walk there without feeling like i was going to pass out and throw up...its pretty bad to get this worked up >.<]]

That's happend to me before. I draw a lot of anime characters and rp with my friends on weekends( it's like our weekly ritual) and ppl picked on me for it. It was mostly people calling me 'anime freak', 'Art nerd' and stuff like that, but once it got so bad that a guy actually grabbed my scetchbook off of my desk and threw it in the garbage next to the door ( I didn't even KNOW the guy !). That was at another school, but I still get scared when I go to take my scetchbook out during a free period.
