I think I managed it once, but it is hard.... It's even harder when you're going for an odd angle though.

you using a ref?
Don't use a photo. Use a drawing instead. Amazingly, drawings differ so much from photos when it comes to drawing a kiss. rolleyes I've seen plenty of images of the sort on deviantart. Of course, I don't use them because I feel awkward and almost dirty after staring for too long. because I still have never been kissed. *pruuude*
Also, try drawing from an angle. Instead of just on a flat line. Draw one character higher up, and tilting down at an angle at the character that's lower down. That should make it easier...if that makes sense.

peoples mistake is usually
1. peoples chin are huge
2. their nose it too big
3. their head is much bigger than their body
4. they're angle is wrong
