Anyway! It's ironic that I quoted the least-colored drawing to say this but... I swear I remember you saying before that you felt like coloring was your weakness and you had to work on it. So I just want to say... it's been soooo cool to see how gorgeously you've been coloring all your art. x3 ... And if I'm remembering incorrectly, it still stands that it's all been colored so well. This sketchy style you did for this one is so good. I really like how you varied the line weight in all the shadows
btw, I also edited the default image size smaller in the post format than the standard one. > < Lemme know if you'd like anything changed about the code. (Like, I can add in the "larger picture" stuff you always add)

thank you so much for the kind words, i'm sure i have mentioned something like that before, since for some reason in all the time i've been doing art, i always struggled with progressing beyond a sketch or even lineart. i wouldn't have expected anyone to remember that sort of thing though so that's impressive!
the textured brush i used is doing a lot of heavy lifting but tysm again, haha
i really love the pieces you've done, the ones that particularly caught my attention: the anthurium looks like a photo and the depth of field is so good! i'm really drawn to the cactus too, the colour variations in the walls are lovely, really gives a lot of visual interest beyond the focal point
also, i can't get over how clever your gem was! the cat heads are genius
all good on the template, perhaps i'll change it up myself as well so i can definitely make my own if needed!

.... Okay, I swear some of my items are missing. There are items on closet avis that are no longer in my inventory. And I rarely sell things. But I've chalked it up as... maybe I accidentally did or traded it off to a mule .... But now I know for sure items are missing. My G Shades are missing And I wouldn't have traded/sold those so wtf, Gaia. wtf. (I don't have any weird hacked trade/gift history. And who would steal G Shades? XDD )
I had to use the search feature to find something -_- idk what happened but my inventory become a mess and idk where anything is. It's so annoying crying did you put it in your storage maybe?

Day # 020/100 Theme: Previous unused theme - Day 18: Mandala Time spent: 1.5hrs
Comments: used an old leftover henna cone from 2 weeks ago, so unfortunately it didn't stain, but great practice! It was originally more mandala looking but I've been liking the flowy vine patterns & I forgot to stay more mandala!!
Comments: followed this tutorial, the blue paper was too stiff (a bit harder than printer paper), the red might have been too soft (some fancy diy thin tissue like paper) but I do like the red one's effect. 3nodding
And I just realised this was meant to be an actual flower rofl
I was going to do clay (yay, so much much clay in the garden sweatdrop) but it was drizzling & I didn't feel like finding some in the wet!

Using a spirit pass, my mam had to go hospital for some x-rays after slipping (she's ok, no broken bones, but "sore as hell" & probably going to be spectacularly bruised!) So yeah no art today!

She has paracetamol (& a slightly stronger one if she needs) & an anti-inflammatory. So far ok. She was stiff today & took it easy but no spectacular bruising yet! XD
