day 15theme: modern fashion time: ~35 minutes  larger image: comments:i really wanted to give up on the last couple days so i keep procrastinating, but at the last second i tell myself that i can spare the time and at least post something  as far as i know, techwear was always a really niche type of fashion, but i like it a lot so that's what i went with and at least tried to make some interesting shapes on this one

day 16theme: witches' supermarket time: ~45 minutes  larger image: comments:market and supermarket have different connotations, i realize, but by the time i quickly wrote in the theme it was too late to change it (as you can see from the time i'm submitting this ) i think here we have a store clerk, an elegant witch and a scruffy "just throwing this on for walmart" witch who's also in love with cats it would be fun to revisit this one and/or develop it more, the theme could lead in a lot of different ways!

day 18theme: jellyfish time: ~4 hrs  larger image + bonus: comments:i typed out a bunch of comments for this and then didn't save them, rip was able to spend a lot of time on this one today and mostly used that time meandering from one theme to the next - i started with the element personification and only after the fact realized it could've been elements as in the periodic table, but my first thought was elements as in, earth, water, etc. i was going to go with fire, but more cozy instead of...uh, fiery? that wasn't working out, so i pivoted toward jellyfish (the initial sketch is the added pic under the spoiler - their left hand in particular really aggravated me as i couldn't find a way to make it look good, so i abandoned the whole thing) i was considering switching to keys at that point, with perhaps a fighting game style character that uses a giant keyring for a weapon (inspired by Tira from soul calibur), but swapped back to the jellyfish theme after doing several thumbnail sketches and figuring one would work well for what is the final coloured-in submission it doesn't matter too much since i'm on normal mode already, but i did finish this the previous day, it just wouldn't post due to forum issues

day 18theme: lunar new year time: ~30 minutes  larger image: comments:might be losing my mind because i could have sworn yesterday's pic/post went through, and now i don't see it, so that's why today's is labeled with day 19... anyway, i haven't tried to write in chinese in a while so this is pretty scuffed, being dragged kicking and screaming to learn chinese when i was younger was an experience i didn't appreciate at the time but definitely should have, lol a more bright red would've been better for the theme, but it was getting very eye-hurty so i lowered the opacity just a tad

day 19theme: jellyfish time: ~4 hrs larger image + extra sketch: comments:the forum posting issues lately have me completely doubting my sanity, because i'm so sure i was finally able to make this post, and then it vanished. so, let's just say day 18 and 19 are reversed, for gaia-related issues i retyped the comments on this a few times and i'm too lazy to do it again, but basically i worked on one sketch (under the spoiler) for a while and the hands were annoying me and i was having trouble fixing them, so i started over

day 20theme: owl time: ~40 mins  larger image: comments:well, it happened...i got back into world of warcraft not gonna say that's why i didn't do something yesterday but it might be why, anyway here's an owl a la world of warcraft, which is to say it's a combination of a few different animals because come to think of it, they really love mashing up animals to create a fantasy version of an animal (in this case, druid's flight form - for the uninitiated, some characters can turn into animals, and it's very cute and that's all you need to know)

day 29theme: credit card time: ~40 mins  larger image: comments:i turned 'credit card' into more of a 'shopping' theme with panty & stocking (well, just panty i guess) i don't know if this is in character for her because i don't remember the show, i think i did actually watch it a long time ago, but i recall no facts except the two main character names/title, lmao. i just thought the art style matched the theme, tbh
