Day # 048 Theme: Spirit Challenge: Design/create a piece of jewelry based around your birth stone (Amethyst) Time spent: 45min-1hr
Comments: the amethyst in the diamonds shapes at the rim & on the spikes are cut scintillating (sparkly style), the rods/cones behind the spikes are cut roughly & smoothed a bit. The gold around the rim are supposed to be all roses! gaia_crown Of course it's a crown/headdress! emotion_dealwithit

I do not own any crowns, nor have I worn any anywhere, but sometimes when i see some cool ones, witchy ones, or cosplay ones I feel a bit like Gollum! burning_eyes

@hiimbeary: I love your tarot drawings. Have you heard of the book A Vow in Vengeance? It's centered around tarot and although it's a romantasy, it's not very focused on the NSFW parts and more about the struggle to survive in a new land and learn to use magic to safe the one's you love. It's really good,but I have to warn you, the 2nd book isn't out yet.

Day # 063 Theme: Spirit Challenge: Draw yourself as a DnD/RPG character with information about them Time spent: 15mins
Comments: So had a few ideas (orc as stealth rogue who is not actually stealthy but everyone she tries it on is intimidated enough to pretend she was totally stealthy... But in the end drew a similar concept - a beholder rogue who vaporises or turns people to stone, so the party can "sneak" past...
Sunglass(es) are for the party's protection!
I used to read a funny webcomic (Not Another Fantasy Gamer Comic) - here, as well as seeing this Come up in my YouTube algorithm like it knew what I was thinking!

Comments: yeah so looked up a few polymer clay tutorial videos. I don't have a pasta machine like so many use. Also my polymer clay was bought like 10 years ago on sale ...so once I started trying to knead it it was actually crumbly!! Took me over two hours to knead & make this. burning_eyes first pic is an hour and a half in. I was doing this on my bedroom floor for the space & solidity! 2nd pic is my done-for-today! rofl
Tomorrow it's shaping & baking! And maybe painting...

Comments: yeah so looked up a few polymer clay tutorial videos. I don't have a pasta machine like so many use. Also my polymer clay was bought like 10 years ago on sale ...so once I started trying to knead it it was actually crumbly!! I once made the mistake of getting fimo clay years ago. Never again! Even when new, that was the most difficult clay to knead. It’s so awful. Lol @ “soft” on the wrapper. Pffffttt I switched to one of the Sculpey clays. Sooo much nicer to work with. Even when it gets hard… it’s still not as bad as fimo. XD (I spoke with an older artist after I had that experience and her reaction after I said “fimo” was enough for me. She explained that it wasn’t a fluke, fimo sucks, and directed me to which Sculpey to go with. XD So I never gave it another chance)
I’m amazed you got that clay to work! Especially at its age. You must be Superman. XD (Supergirl)

Comments: So didn't bake them! No time - was at a little con today instead! XD Did temporarily try freezing them because they still felt too soft to carve & were losing the sharp points but I tried my Stanley knife very extended & it seemed to work Also there's more crystals because I ended up using the scraps to make more...rofl Left to right is my progression so I think if I'm going to bake them I might make them a lot bigger? 🤔
