Thank you so much for noticing that! Everyone here is so kind and helpful. I wish we could all hangout irl. This art challenge is really just what I need in my life. Something that I can do for me and that doesn't have to be on schedule and gives me a chance to express myself,learn to improve, & have fun doing it! That coupled with writing and reading, has been my solace and my sanity.
I have taking care of her most or less since I was 11 (drinking problems run in our family and I'm the only one who never started) and I'm now in my mid 30s. My uncle has been sober for 7 years this upcoming Dec 3rd. Mom has stage 4 COPD and I do pretty much everything for her, except wipe her butt. I pray it NEVER comes to that. She doesn't understand that I need a work/life balance & since we live together, she thinks I'm on the clock 24/7. Part of that might be do to hypoxia or maybe dementia,another genetic "blessing",but she refuses to believe it. One more reason to not bring a child into the world,at least personally. She's also very nocturnal and I'm not, so that's also a thing!burning_eyes
I actually kind of used my childhood as inspiration for a fanfic I need to finish since the main character had a very similar experience with a single parent/only child dynamic. I posted it on Gaia,dA, and Ao3, if you're interested. It's from the same universe as my Hairties oneshot. I always love feedback and my editor/proofreader is entirely illiterate, but that's because she's a cat!cat_3nodding You would think in her nearly 17 years she would have learned by now. Oh,well,still worth it!emotion_bigheart

Kelly (male lead ,16) is going to have his first kiss,but being on the Ace spectrum, I have not.The girl is using him,but he doesn't know it yet. I know how I want to proceed with everything else, but I've been on the struggle bus since January!

Ohhh I see! In this case, is there someone you know and trust who isn't ace that could help you out? This is what I do for characters I am unsure of how to write/cannot relate to!
Day # 046 Theme: Colour Challenge: Monochrome Teal Time spent: 30mins
Comments: Tried to do values based instead of using lines, but they weren't distinct enough (dark to light) for it? (darkest was a waterbased marker, mid & light were paint based so the dark just absorbed in & didn't "stay" well! & the lightest darkened after drying! sweatdrop

Comments: the amethyst in the diamonds shapes at the rim & on the spikes are cut scintillating (sparkly style), the rods/cones behind the spikes are cut roughly & smoothed a bit. The gold around the rim are supposed to be all roses! gaia_crown Of course it's a crown/headdress! emotion_dealwithit

I read that as "on me? How did you know" Oh wait my avis, yeah totally that too....ninjarofl
I do not own any crowns, nor have I worn any anywhere, but sometimes when i see some cool ones, witchy ones, or cosplay ones I feel a bit like Gollum! burning_eyes
