@Quaddy or @Pie: What is today's color theme/challenge? When I clink on the link all it does it to Tumblr page and not to a specific scheme. Is it the one in the header or something different?
Sorry, just seeing this. Most color palette challenges come from that same site.. so ignore the header. You'll see it each time :) That's odd though. I'm not sure how to help with that because it worked for me. I included a screenshot of the color palette I see in my post today. I'm also not logged into the site, so that shouldn't be an issue Trying to troubleshoot this, could browser be an issue? I can see it on chrome (PC) and Safari (iPad)

Comments: a couple of exercises to test it out. ochre pen was first pass on drawing, blue was a better second one! Dear god writing is harder! Also mirror writing is more fun left handed but i have to think too hard to flip the letters! xd

I have been baking again not an art event entry but...

maybe I will bake for another day. I plan to make some brownies that use black beans in the place of eggs/oil so that might be in the future for my posts lol

People color using the header color palette all the time. It’s so deceiving. Especially when I open the link on my phone and that header totally looks like it’d be the palette. I only noticed when I saw it a second time and assumed the same palette was accidentally added again lol (the header)

Comments: yeah changed the top of the tower & the supports a bit
but I only have one blue, red & yellow & i'm terrible at mixing colours so it's a lot muddier? urgh! I'll finish another day, it took a while to dry in between each layer

Thank you so much for noticing that! Everyone here is so kind and helpful. I wish we could all hangout irl. This art challenge is really just what I need in my life. Something that I can do for me and that doesn't have to be on schedule and gives me a chance to express myself,learn to improve, & have fun doing it! That coupled with writing and reading, has been my solace and my sanity.
I have taking care of her most or less since I was 11 (drinking problems run in our family and I'm the only one who never started) and I'm now in my mid 30s. My uncle has been sober for 7 years this upcoming Dec 3rd. Mom has stage 4 COPD and I do pretty much everything for her, except wipe her butt. I pray it NEVER comes to that. She doesn't understand that I need a work/life balance & since we live together, she thinks I'm on the clock 24/7. Part of that might be do to hypoxia or maybe dementia,another genetic "blessing",but she refuses to believe it. One more reason to not bring a child into the world,at least personally. She's also very nocturnal and I'm not, so that's also a thing!burning_eyes
I actually kind of used my childhood as inspiration for a fanfic I need to finish since the main character had a very similar experience with a single parent/only child dynamic. I posted it on Gaia,dA, and Ao3, if you're interested. It's from the same universe as my Hairties oneshot. I always love feedback and my editor/proofreader is entirely illiterate, but that's because she's a cat!cat_3nodding You would think in her nearly 17 years she would have learned by now. Oh,well,still worth it!emotion_bigheart

I love how this one turned out!! It's very pretty :3 I had no idea they grew so fast!
I love the mini (almost as tall as a person) potted version you can see in garden centres! So in stead of a sprawling huge spread-ing plant it's like a gorgeous flowering mini tree. Pricey though 😅 There are those older estates/manor houses around with huge gardens & some have wisteria tunnel arches which are so beautiful 😍 But yeah, unless you trim & heavily prune it very regularly, it spreads a lot!
Ohhhh that sounds more convenient... are they cat safe? Is it also an invasive plant? How much do they cost! I'm curious. Yes I looove places which have beautiful gardens!! I am so jealous, I could never take care of all that lmao

It looks good! Do you have any white? that would be the only other color I recommend getting, and maybe burnt umber or another brown/earthy tone just for ease of use. It's lovely though heart
